Not even close to Disney or enlcosed fence atmosphere. We only saw the fence a few times--it's about 25K hectares--large reserve. I can see where river Lodge might be a bit congested on drives when it's full occupancy. I'd avoid the "activities" for extra charge, like elephant encounter. Just enjoy the drives.
