How has the current level of danger due to the rampant killing of rhino by poachers armed with AK 47's the killing of the poachers in the park by the South African military and the current strike by the Kruger staff including 250 rangers affected the area? Do you feel safe traveling here at this time? Do you have additional protection for the tourists?
Not sure what danger the Rhino poaching poses on tourists and what the CURRENT LEVEL OF DANGER is supposed to mean?
Rhino = animal = horn = money
Tourist = Human = No horn = No money
Strike supposed to have started today. Living here, feeling very safe.

and by the way, if you are planning to visit Balule (assuming according to the area you are posting in), why are you concerned about KNP?
Balule private reserve is as the name says a PRIVATE RESERVE and not affected by the strikes of SANPARS emplyoees.

We have visited Kruger 7 times in the last 5 years we have always felt perfectly safe we will be there 2 weeks today Yipee
I would feel more concerned for the Rhino,s,they dont want to poach tourists!!
