Hi there Good Will Hunting,
A first time safari is always immensely exciting, but can also be very confusing; There are so many different options!
Tanya & Steve have a good point - The &Beyond properties are very well kept, well managed, and have good reviews.
My first question to you would be, what is your budget per night? This can help us to recommend our best picks to you that fit within your chosen budget.
The Sabi Sands reserve is part of the Greater Kruger area, and is known world wide for it's population of cats, and especially their calm leopards.
The lodges within the reserve range anywhere from R2000 per night to R10,000 upwards, so it is important that you figure out what you would like to spend, and what you would like to receive in return. Drinks included? Bush walks? The choices are all yours to make your safari everything you have dreamed it would be.
If you need ANY more help, please do not hesitate to ask us, that's what we are all here for on Trip Advisor :-)
All the best, and I wish you LOTS of enjoyment on your first ever safari,
