Travelling to Rio Rancho

Will be visiting Rio Rancho in February. I am looking for a reasonably priced hotel, possibly with a kitchenette. An indoor pool would be a bonus. We have friends locally, but they have just relocated, so are not too familiar with places to stay, etc...

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Mumakat,

We are a bit limited on hotels in Rio Rancho - however, there is a newly remodeled Comfort Inn that is centrally located which has an indoor pool that you'll need for February! :0) Also, there is and Extended Stay that has kitchenettes.

The Days Inn has an indoor pool - but it's pretty basic.

Let me know if you have any further questions!

There are a few places in Bernalillo which is close to Rio Rancho, HI Express, Quality Inn/Suites, Days Inn and the very nice Hyatt Regency Tamaya.

Also near the Cottonwood Mall, south of Rio Rancho are a few places. Plus many suite hotels along I25, probably 15 minutes to Rio Rancho. Look near Balloon Fiesta Park.

Sandia Pueblo has a huge resort, with casino, hotel etc.

Visit www.itsatrip.org for tons of info on the Abq area.

Ok all. Made my trip to Rio Rancho, and I did stay at the Days Inn. It is Basic. We only paid about 55 dollars a night, so you do get what you pay for, and that's about it. Had I been aware it was located in the Target parking lot, I may have opted for the Days Inn Bernalillo, though I noticed that almost everything in Rio Rancho is jam-packed into as little space as possible, which is odd, considering the amount of open space available :)

I did enjoy visiting Albuquerque and Sante Fe, and for that purpose, my hotel was conveniently located. Thanks again for your help.
