Parking for La Posta restaurant?

We'll be spending two nights at the end of May in the Las Cruces area (at the KOA to be exact). We'd like to eat dinner one night at La Posta restaurant. What is the parking like there, will we have a hard time finding a spot? Do they have parking lots or is it street side parking? Free or do you pay? What will traffic be like driving from the KOA to La Posta (we're from a small, small town and not used to traffic or parking issues!)?

From what I remember there were a couple of parking lots near La Posta. Very easy drive from the KOA, just get directions from Google maps.

Was there last year. We parked in the back in a large parking lot. It was divided with a small wall that you can easily walk around if you find yourself on the other side of it. It was dark and we were unfamiliar with the area and we still found it.

Went again during the daytime after strolling around the historic Plaza. If you are already parked near the Plaza, you will run into it easily.

Enjoy, it is a fun place!

Oh, and it was free. Traffic was minimal btw in Las Cruces but we were there in November.

Yeah, they have a largish dirt parking lot just off Ave. de Mesilla. It's a block from the restaurant itself and is marked for parking for La Posta. You can also often find parking on any of the streets or at the plaza. Parking isn't usually a concern in Las Cruces or Mesilla. I can't remember ever paying for parking in Las Cruces, even at NMSU games, concerts and what not.

Traffic is also not a problem. If anything you'll get annoyed following some New Mexican in "manana" mode driving 30 in a 45, lol.
