New Year's in Lincoln

Hi!

I will be traveling in the end of December with a group of 4 for New Year's and am interested in trying to find a good area to spend a few nights.

We would like to be close to skiing/snow activities as well as in an area we can still go to restaurants. We range in age from 28-32 if that helps at all!

We are probably interested in renting a home somewhere but are not quite sure what area to focus on - can anyone help guide me?

Thank you so much!

1. Re: New Year's in Lincoln

Lincoln is fine for Loon, Cannon or Bretton Woods.

or you could stay near Waterville Valley.

Finding a home over NYE for less than a week is likely to be problematical.

WV has a village set up so don't need a car necessarily if you stay there.

Lincoln is more spread out and you will need a car. There is slopeside lodging at Loon.

You also have the east side (North Conway) which gives you access to Wildcat, Cranmore, Attitash and many lodging and apres ski options. It is not too late to be reserving a place now for that time of year.

Correction. Meant to say it is not to EARLY to be reserving lodging.
