Collorado Belle

edgewater is far superior. The belle is smelly the carpet sticks to your feet and the food has a film over the top of it. Shelly think old peoples homes and you won't be far wrong.

Neither is any good anymore. The prices are dropped and now they serve cheap food. Edgewater is ok for the money.....dont expect any shrimp or beef like they used to have when the prices were higher. Lunch is worth the 5 bucks or free.....there are still some tasty dishes.....just dont look for high priced food on the buffet. The belle menu is supposed to be the same but i dont know who is doing the cooking there. Worst buffet on the river hands down.

Free often has a cost, and it will here if you eat at either of these pits. There's a good Mexican place in the Riverside Annex. Go there. Or the brew pub at the Belle.

The brew pub at belle is lousy now also....would not recommend any restaurants there except the high end one upstairs.

Casa Serano is the mexican place at the riverside and its good. Pioneer has a good lunch buffet....not fancy but good tasting food and the restaurant has good food also.

And we Brits do a lousy pizza but this was the pits.

Shelly your best bet is the in and out burger next to the tropicanna. Eat what the americans do best the burger here is better than any you would taste in the UK even jamie olivers and its fast food give the free buffet a miss,as I say old peoples home food crossed with school dinners

polkadad-the Orleans Room upstairs at the Belle no longer exsists. When MGM sold the properties the new owners did away with it. Unfortunately I don't think there is a good meal to be had at the Belle anymore.

Some friends did the "free" buffet there and said it reminded them of a school cafeteria circa 1960's. And not in a good way.

wow that dining room is just sitting vacant then......i always thought it was just closed till evening hours...thanks for the info.......Isobel, you got that right.....we eat at n and out at least once a week. Our favorite. Get 2 double doubles and fries and that fills me up for about 10 bucks.
