Thanks VegasMan, do you know if Paris has it all the time or it is just at the weekends for them as well...? I will be coming 11 April - 14 April so will not be there over the weekend

What is the advantage / disadvantage of this? Do you still get the same sized wheel, i.e. more room to land on red / black, or the numbers you have selected, or do they add a number?

Sorry...not much experience on the roulette table!

The advantage is much greater for the player. it drops the house advantage in half from 5.26% to 2.7%. Imagine betting the red/black, even/odd, or 1-18 or 19-36, bets. There is less of a chance it lands on the 0 or 00, because now there is only one of those to land on.

Brother,

The advantage is there is only one space for the ball not to land on Red/Black or Odd/Even as compared to 2 on the American style Wheel. The European wheel cuts the house advatange in half. When is your trip?

Jake,

At Paris, (just found this out) the Single Zero wheel is only in the High Limit pit. You have to be betting $100 per spin to play this table. OUCH.

Bellagio also offers the European wheels in their Baccarat room, sounds pricey to me.

Check out www.cheapovegas.com. If you have time to click on each casino that you want to visit, they usually tell you if the casino has single zero. I made a list (a very short one) but don't have it with me right now. Sorry! Good luck!

From what I've been told the best bet on the Roulette wheel are the "12's"( 1 thru 12, 13 thru 24,25 thru 36). If, on a 1 zero wheel, you place money on 2 "12's" you have a 37:24 chance of doubling your money(Keep in mind that although a win pays 2 to 1 you will lose on at least one of the bets). Keep in mind, however, that this doesn't "Beat" the odds. FYI...There is NO WAY to beat the odds in Roullete-whatever you may read, whatever system you may see-it won't work. You will NEVER beat the house edge.
