Formula 1

Hi, could anyone please tell us if it will be possible to watch the chinese f1 race while we are in vegas next month. By my working out it will be on at 1am, we are staying at the goldcoast over the weekend, but would be fine to go over to the palms or rio to watch.

Thanks for any help

I dont know for sure where you would watch it but I doj know that it will be broadcast. i watch all the races on nbc sports network. If I have that channel then sertainly casinos have it.

Plus they have reruns throughout the day so if you miss the middle of the night showing you might catch a later showing of it.

Not any other sports going in the middle of the night so you should have no problem with it.

Nice to see another F1 fan traveling to Vegas :). I will be in Vegas during the Chinese GP and have been there in the past during race weekends (usually have been the European rounds at 5:30 am). 1 time I had the folks at the betting center in Wynn put the race on on one of their screens. The other time I had the bartender of a bar in Tropicana change one of his TV's to Speed while I nursed a couple of drinks during the race.

I would suggest checking with the bartender at the main bar at Gold Coast to see if they have access to the NBC Sports channel. If they do have it, they should be happy to switch at least one TV to the race.

Thanks for all your replies and info. I'll try the bartenders then.

The Bally's poker room and nearby bar both had a few TVs tuned to NBC Sports and showed the Malaysian F1 race live. At 1am there wasn't any basketball going on lol.
