Aria or Cosmo - help me decide.

I was able to get a pretty decent rate at the Aria ($170 for a Deluxe King plus $100 resort credit).

I have had a couple price alerts for the Cosmo and last night I was able to land a sweet deal in my opinion using the LNF ($189 for Terrace Suite - 1 BR).

Which one should we keep? Do all of the Terrace-1 BR's have fountain views?

Also, I am a Marriott Platinum - any chance of an upgrade to a wraparound terrace suite?

My wife has never been to Vegas and we are in our early 40's, not big gamblers. Looking more to stroll around, see a couple shows and have some nice meals.

Me and my fiancee have booked Cosmo for our honeymoon in November. We looked at aria, but the smaller rooms put us off, and from all the resorts we read Cosmo was aimed at our age group (both 29). Aria will be more relaxed as from everything if read Cosmo is quite a lively 20-30 crowd. It depends what your looking for. If your looking for a lively fun atmosphere go with Cosmo, but if you want something leas rowdy, go with aria. I don't think you can lose either way with the deals you've found, so maybe try tossing a coin

Also, not all terrace suites have fountain views, its an upgrade you have to pay for. From what I've read marriot platinum members can get free upgrades, so definitely worth a go. Wouldn't paying to stay at Cosmo increase your marriot points? If so, book there - may as well earn some extra points out of your trip

All terrace suites face the fountains not all terrace 1 bed rooms do. Your talking two different room types. Which do you have?

The Cosmo rooms are much nicer than Aria basic rooms, in my opinion, and the casino itself has a trendier and more vibrant vibe than Aria. Having a terrace is a nice addition, depending on the time of year you go. There is easier access in and out of Cosmo to the Strip.

Aria is very modern & nice but is a little more removed from the strip than would seem. Cosmo is by far hipper and has a great vibe to it as well as being right on

the strip. The restaurant selection at Cosmo is cooler and more interesting. I've stayed at both in the past year and would stay at Cosmo again in a heartbeat. My next stay at Aria would only be if I got a great deal on a Corner Suite. Based on your ages as well, I'd say Cosmo.

Tried searching here but couldn't find anything. Is there a separate Marriott Platinum check-in line here. I have read about VIP check-in but not sure who qualifies for that line.

Cosmo hands down.

yo-eleven-yo - If you find a lower rate, Marriott will match it with Look No Furhter (LNF) and give you an extra 25% discount.
