Las Vegas Forum: Las Vegas .com Hollywood Tour

We booked this tour (myself and three others )the total cost being over $800 before we arrived in Las Vegas from the UK to travel to Hollywood on 4/30/2011.The tour itenerary according to the website began at 7.00AM returning to Las Vegas for 10.00PM the tour would include a guided tour of the stars homes ,a chance to visit the Chinese Theatre and take in the surrounding area ,see the famous Hollywood sign then visit Santa Monica beach with the advice to bring swim shorts etc to take advantage of the beach/sea etc.In reality what actually happened was after being picked up and on our way at 6.45am we arrived at Santa Monica beach at 12.15pm and advised to be back at the coach at 1.30pm, hardly time to take in the resort ,pier etc never mind a dip in the sea(unless we wanted to sit on the coach in wet clothes)after reboarding the coach we were informed there was not enough time to tour the stars homes and were taken to Hollywood Boulevard here we were shown the famous Hollywood sign(it was approximately 1 mile away telephoto lens req,d)then we were given around 1 hour to look round the Chinese Theatre etc at 3.30pm we were back aboard the coach and on our way back to Las Vegas we were back at our hotel for 9.00pm this after a 1 hour delay at a service station waiting for the police to arrive after the bus was damaged in an incident with another vehicle.You may now be thinking that doen,t seem value for the money paid and thats exactly how we feel,robbed to be more precise are our feelings,we feel the tour was missold not providing what was offered.Before posting this we contacted Las Vegas .com to give them the opportunity to answer our criticisms that was 9 days ago and we still have not recieved a reply.
