Vegas hotel rooms with kitchenette?Even off strip.

Hi

Me (28) and my husband(40) are coming to Vegas for first time on 3 May. We are not interested in gambling, want just see places, shows..

I would like to ask if you could suggest us some hotels that have rooms with little kitchenettes(or apartment type of room)? Our budget is about $55-$65 per night. Also swimming pool is desirable.

We don't mind to be off the strip if hotel has shuttle. Is there such place?

I would greatly appreciate your suggestions.

At those rates it might be a little difficult especially over a weekend. The two that come to my mind are the Polo Towers and the Flamingo Vacations hotel behind the Flamingo Hilton. I'm sure others will help you out as well!:)

Check Desert Rose. Might be a bit over budget, but the rooms have kitchens, and they have a pool.

Check out the Desert Rose Resort. A couple blocks off strip. Weekday rates will be in your price range. shellhospitality.com/hotels/…index.html

Platinum Hotel occasionally has a 65 dollar midweek rate. Google Platinum Las Vegas. A cpl long blocks behind Ballys. Planet Hollywood Towers might also be worth a look for low rates midweek. As posted, Desert Rose probably your best bet.

Thank you very much for all your replies!

Desert Rose looks very good! We also came across Tahiti Village, is that good option?

Thank you for this link, there are some very good coupons listed.

Excuse my ignorance, but where can we get those coupons?

The cheapest place to pick up the ACG is probably from Amazon.com.

Also, just another consideration -- Desert Rose is cheap and has a kitchenette, but for your first time in Vegas, since you're interested in places, shows, etc, it might make more sense to get a room on the Strip. While a place with a kitchenette will be over budget, rooms without them are significantly under budget. Rather than spend $60/night on a place with a kitchenette, you could spend $25/night and stay right on the Strip (Excalibur or Imperial Palace should be that cheap on weeknights -- check out SmarterVegas.com for promo codes; they've got Imperial Palace as low as $20/night, and there's no resort fees there either). I don't know how long you'll be there, but if you're spending 5 nights there, you'd be saving $200 on the price of the room. Spend that $200 on the restaurants of your choice, and you're coming out the same, but not having to cook and not having to take a cab to the Strip.

Marriott Grand Chateau is a timeshare and they have kitchens. may be a little more then what you listed. As the other poster listed, get a less expensive room and ask for a frig. You could go to Wallgreens and get a coffee maker for 9.00. if that is what you want. Vegas can have very inexpensive rooms. Marriott does have a pool

www.summerbayresort.com/lasvegas.htm

I can't personally recommend it, as I have not stayed here. However, this past July my son and his girl attended a friend's wedding at MGM, and the Bride booked a block of rooms here at Summer Bay Resort for family/friends.

A few of the couples chose to stay on the Strip as this was their first time to Vegas. From what my son heard from those that did stay at Summer Bay Resort, they liked it very much!

Just another one for you to take a look at, maybe this will work? :)
