Yes, see my response to Erica's question. I would recommend Sapphire, but there are other nice places as well - a cabbie recommended Spearmint Rhino, though we did not go. Your wife is a good sport to go to a strip club. It will be about as much stimulation as you can handle - especially on your honeymoon!

As far as bars, clubs and shows, it all depends on what you're looking for. The best overall shows are the Cirque du Soleil shows, but there are plenty of specialty acts, topless shows, etc. Vegas offers the best club scene in America - by far - but they are all very different. Again, it depends on what you enjoy. Bars are the same way - very high quality, but very different depending on your tastes. Tell me more and I'll be more specific...

Cheetah...Treasures..or Sapphires...if you decide you want some roudy good time go to Downtown and try Girls of Glitter and Gulch. MY hubby and I had a great experince their last March!

My wife and I just got back yesterday, our best fun was found at Sapphires and Spearmint Rhino. We went to both places in the weeee hours of the morning on seperate days and had a ball, the girls were great and the atmosphere relaxed. On the third day we tried Jaguars, which was recomended by the girls at the other clubs as a classy place to try. We liked it the least, in fairness to the club we were there dog tired on Friday night and early (11:00 pm) Lot more hustling for dances than at the other two clubs, but we were there at a peak time for the girls to earn what they could. Final pet peeve on Jaguars aside from the $50.00 cash only cover to get in was their club chairs, very high backed and swallowed you in if that makes sense. We felt like they limited the dancers.

Also noticed a couple posts on Treasures, this place just got shut down, the outside of the building looked awesome from the road. The girls at Rhino's and Sapphires actually had Treasures as their alternate Must Go To Club over Jaguars.

I wanted to go to a strip club as well....a couples friendly club. I have written down Spearmint Rhino and Glitter Gulch from previous postings, but where is Sapphires? I'll add it to my list, but I don't know where it is. Thanks!

Not that I'd know a great deal about this subject, but I can tell you that Sapphire is on Industrial Rd (street that runs parallel to the Strip between the Strip and I-15) more or less right behind Stardust.

We felt the dancers at Spearmind Rhino were more pushy in looking for lap dances than at Glitter Gulch. One even cussed at hubby for not buying a dance. Also, most of the dancers don't seem particularly friendly to female patrons. The tipping stage wasn't nearly as much fun as downtown.

The dancers at Glitter Gulch are far more friendly and REALLY include female customers in the fun. I would say, however, that they work harder for and expect the stage tips more than at SR. IMO, however, that's more fun anyway.

If you're ranking the bodies on the dancers, SR will win (pretty much hands down). But if you're looking for fun, go to Glitter Gulch.

(Btw . . . dancers pay to dance at these clubs. Lap dances and tips are how they make their money . . . yeah, they're gonna work for them--maybe even push.)

I know this is an old thread, but my hubby and I are headed out in a few weeks.

Could anyone provide updated information?

I don't want to be in seperate rooms, and don't much care about male strippers, just a club that welcomes a female on-looker.
