Parking at Paris and Bellagio

Is self parking free at Paris and Bellagio? What about valet parking, I know you have to tip, but is there a cost charged to your room as well?

Also, with valet parking, how much should you tip?

Parkings are free for most casinos, including valet ones. It's just you'd have to tip the valet.

Self and valet parking is totally free at all hotels on the Strip. No charges added to any hotel bills. If you valet park tip a minimum of $2 when you pick up your car, more if the service is fast and efficient.

The same applies Downtown but with self parking you usually have to get a validation from the hotel's casino cage.

Self parking is a waste of time, in my opinion. Some of the garages are far, far away from the casino/hotel and not in the least convenient. Valet is much easier. We tip anywhere from $3 and up depending on the speed with which we get the car and the friendliness of the valet.

Parking is free at all the strip hotels. You do not have to be a guest at that hotel to use their garage. Some of the hotels have easier self- parking than others. I find the Bellagio,TI and Mirage (from the Spring Mountain entrance) very convenient and fast so I don't bother with valet parking. When a show gets out the valet parking line might be very long. The only problem I have with the Bellagio parking - they almost always ask me to pop the trunk when entering. The car in front of me just zooms by and then they stop me! That has never happened at the Mirage.

If I do valet park I tip $3/4 when I get my car back. I never tip when I leave it off.

Thanks for all the advice. I didn't realise that you could valet park if you weren't a guest at the hotel.

So when you drop the car off, you don't need to tip then? Is that correct? Just tip when I get the car back?

Zelda Aus....yes, that's correct. When you drop it off they'll ask you for your last name and give you a little ticket. Hold on to that ticket. When you want to pick the car up, go to the window, hand them the ticket and they'll bring your car for you. Then when you get in...give the tip to the person who drove your car out for you (they'll ususally be holding the door open for you, ask you if you need directions, etc.). We valet all the time...makes life easy!!

Some people have mentioned they tip when they leave the car off and when they pick it up but I think most people only tip when they get their car back. The tips are pooled.
