Our family of four ( 2 adults, 2 kids) will be staying in Henderson for a couple of days and doing some day trips from there. We usually stay in Hilton properties since we are Honors members and we like Hamptons for the included breakfast ( really nice when traveling with kids). So, there are apparently two Hampton hotels in Henderson. One is located on Astaire Dr. and the other on St. Rose Pkwy. My question is about location....Is one area nicer than the other or closer to restaurants? We would also like to at least take a drive down the LV strip and see it at night...is one hotel closer or more convenient than the other for that? Sorry if these questions seem silly but we are totally unfamiliar with the area and have no idea about distances or where things are located in relation to one another. Maps help a little but not like the advice of someone who has personal experience...so we would appreciate any info and/or advice. Thanks!
