What kinds of things do you like - type of music, food, etc? If you are 21-40, you might like the Power and Light District for a happening scene. The dueling piano bar there was fun the year we went there. If you want something more romantic, check out some of the hotel packages...pricey but a bit more formal and you can just retire to your room without worry about driving after partying.

I would recommend the all-inclusive event at the Power and Light District or the event at Union Station. The package for P&L covers 12 different venues, and it includes DJ battles, laser shows, confetti cannons, the Midwest's biggest countdown and ball drop at Midnight. The Union Station event includes several different options depending on the price point. A 4 course dinner is even available in some packages. Check out the P&L website or the Union Station website for more details.

I was at Union Station last year and it was great. The band was good and the atmosphere even better. Union Station is probably best suited for a middle aged or older crowd. If you are in your 20's, check out the Power & Light District. I am told they put on a pretty good party as well.
