Branson after the 4th of July

We are planning on coming to Branson after the 4th of July. Maybe come in on Thursday the 5th and leave Sunday the 8th. Give or take a day on each end.

Is that going to be a SUPER busy time up there?

Well, I would have to probably say, it will be pretty busy at that time. Not just because of the 4th, but because it's the weekend and through the summer the weekends to tend to be pretty busy. However, it has never stopped us from going! The traffic on the main strip can get really heavy, but you just have to deal with it or learn some the alternate routes.

Think about how the crowds are going to affect you. Driving: study the alternate routes and USE THEM! Allow plenty of time if you need to be somewhere at a certain time. Silver Dollar City: lines for the rides if that's what you are interested in. Meals: plan to go before the rush, 30 minutes can make a huge difference. Other than that the heat and humidity is going to be the same with or without crowds. You can buy tickets for shows where it's cool and you know you will have a seat. Plenty to do that doesn't make a difference.
