We also have stayed at the Grand. Comps are good. You stay on their radar for over a year after you visit. It has been almost two years since we were there and just recently stoped getting offers/comps from them.

We usually stay at the Grand and get up to 3 free nights stay plus free meals and free slot play. This is a very nice hotel and casino. I would recomend this place to everyone.

The Golden Nugget has taken over. It willl be about a year for them to do the changes they have planned, such as a river ride water feature, new restaurants, redoing the casino, etc.

There are two casinos that offer something that the others don't.

Treasure Bay will refund up to $100 slot play for new players on the second day.

Island View gives you your free play on the slot machine without having to put any money in it.

I prefer Island View because it is very large with more slot machines

(2,000) then the Grand (800) has and is quite generous with comps and free play. They also have a new restaurant called Beachside Steamers that has outstanding seafood. The Beau Rivage is also a good choice for comps and has over 2,000 slot machines.

Thanks for more replies. Will check out the Golden Nugget since we play in AC and Vegas. We boycott all CET properties unfortunately the Grand would be out. But Island View sounds interesting. Thank you.

What is CET? Why the boycott>?

CET are harrah's locations. Many years ago group of us were treated badly. 20 years later we don't go. Just got back from Biloxi played at Hard Rock will have to wait and see what offers come. Signed up for an Isle card. They won't have golden nugget cards until later. Being able to use card in Biloxi , Vegas and AC will be great. Thx
