Ohmigawd! I was just at Albertville Outlet Mall this weekend and had a marvelous time. Quite exhausting, but the shuttle at day's end was nice. It's less than an hour outside of town on 94W.

Also, there are a couple dandies downtown. Neiman Marcus has one on it's 4th floor, Off 5th is the largest Saks outlet (in the coutry?). They're both on Nicollet Mall downtown. The Marshalls on the same street is also pretty good.

There is also a Tanger Outlet Center in North Branch. It's about 45-60 minutes north of the cities. Inside the MOA there are some outlets like Nordstrom Rack. I've never been to the outlet at Albertville but I hear it's an outlet shoppers Mecca.

The shuttle bus goes around the mall, picking up and dropping off at designated spots. It's free, but we tipped a buck or two. The mall is actually on 2 sides of a busy road, so you could use the shuttle or drive your own car to get to the other side.
