We have stayed at the Budget Host probably 8 or more times in the past 5 years. They do have rooms with lake views, both floors looking towards the SouthEast. You will look over a small parking lot, then the main road, then some houses etc. The lake is not real close to the motel, but you can definately see water and the Island. Some of the lake view rooms have private balconies, others you can drive your car up to the exterior door and park at your room. Easy walk to town going down hill.

Only complaint we have are the hard beds. Otherwise we have always had good stays.
