Sorry, I won't be up in Paradise for another month. I've been going to Taquahmenon for 25 years, and horse flies have never been a concern for us. I wouldn't expect much of a mosquito problem either because it's been so dry this year.

The only times we've had problems with biting bugs has been with beach flies at the mouth of the Two-Hearted River State Camp Ground on Lake Superior. Drove us right out of the park in two different years.
