We LOVE the P'town Inn. It is old Cape Cod at its best. The pool can't be beat, with lots of friendly people and good food and drink at the pool bar. Some postings here have criticized the small bathrooms, poor quality towels, etc., but frankly, we never noticed these things, because we always get a room with at least a partial view and a small patio, and spend all our time looking at one of the most beautiful views in America (and to think we can actually afford it!), breathing in the magnificent air, teasing passing seagulls and local cats, and did I mention the view of the town and the monument and the tides and the light house at dawn, at sunset, under the full moon, or when a storm is approaching? Give me their rather generous continental breakfast at bay side and comfortable-enough beds anyday to eggs souffle and 400-count sheets in some upscale B&B closed off from a water view. I suggest that all you naysayers enjoy the P'town Inn as much as possible before some condo nazis buy the place and close it off to the rest of us poor working schlubs who have only a week or two to enjoy this blessed outermost tip of America each year. It is to be cherished.
