Is it true that Clancy's fish and chips has closed (not the Clancy's on the river). We are going to the Cape in September and hoped to eat there.
Yes, they have closed.
It is called Chapin's Fish & Chips
CCC, we had food last post Labour Day at the one on Lower Co. and it was ABYSMAL...we left the food and paid and walked out..
They do have a big and varied menu Chakita. While they may be trying to offer something to everyone's taste we just go there for the lobster and baked potato and, if we have to wait, the comp salty snacks..LOL.
meb1957: caribchakita has given an accurate review of Clancy's/Chapin's. There are much better places to visit that have a varied menu and tasty food.
Don't worry, caribchakita is a self described 'food snob' and this restaurant has a fun atmosphere, reasonable and varied menu which will have something that you can enjoy....like the lobster and the martinis?..;-))). Let us know how you find it if you think of it. Enjoy.
I can't imagine a worse combination than lobster and martinis! That's what they're pushing at Chapins?
You don't have to be a foodie to recognize poor quality food either. I just think there are better options out there.
Thanks everybody, you are right, it does look the same.
