I have a friend who will be driving thru Maryland using Rt 95.
Is there an interchange between Laurel and Calverton that has
a stop for a quick cup of coffee? She doesn't care to travel all the way to Rt 1. I seemed to remember facilities (hotel? Wendys?
something) right at Calverton. But any of these stops south of Baltimore, right at 95 would do.
Actually there are no interchanges on 95 between Laurel (Route 198) and Calverton (Route 212). If you take the 198 west exit (towards Burtonsville) you can turn left at the first traffic light (Sweitzer Lane) and you will see a Holiday Inn with an Outback Steakhouse on the left. If you take the 212 west exit (Powder Mill Rd.), there is a shopping center with a Wendy's to the right.
