Captain Lord vs. Captain Jefferds?

Has anyone stayed at BOTH of these properties? I have stayed at CLM and loved it, but was interested in trying CJI just to do something different... but don't know if I should stick with what I know is good! How do each compare/contrast? How about the breakfasts (I don't care about communal vs. individual)? THANK YOU!
