Heading to BR this weekend for early xmas shopping, spa, and nice dinner. We need recommendations for a HOTEL and a SPA - around Blubonnet/Mall area for Saturday night. We know it's a home day-game Saturday so we want to stear clear of downtown.

Sorry for the delay. I would try Renaissance Hotel..new with good bar/restaurant, Tallulah.

This spa comes highly recommended but I have never been. It is further out Perkins Road near Highland Road intersection. You can take I-10 towards NOLA and get off at Highland Road exit, turning to right. Located on the left in the shopping center.
