Need a Thanksgiving Dinner Restaurant |
|
We're going to be in town unexpectedly from NYS, meeting up with our two sons....one of which has car problems....and I'm trying to track down somewhere to eat on Thanksgiving. Do you know of place where we could get a good dinner? Thanks! Nancy |

Downtown hotels all have good restaurant---Marriott, Seelbach and Brown.

The Scene section of last Saturday's (Nov 15) Courier Journal included a list of many restaurants that are serving Thanksgiving meals - some brunch, some dinner, etc. Check with your sons to see if they still have a copy.

Thanks for your helpful replies. Neither of our sons live in Louisville, but maybe I can check out the newspaper online...

I noticed that some restaurants and hotels are having early buffets. I suggest writing to our local foodie group for suggestions: I hope you have a great time!

I'd suggest Captain's Quarters. They're doing a Thanksgiving buffet from 10am - 6pm. The dining room has a nice lodge-y feel and the views are about as good as you can get. They're right on the river about 5 miles from downtown on River Road (scenic drive).
