wedding at Keeneland

We are attending a wedding at Keeneland but would like to come up the night before and check out downtown Lexington. Have high school aged and college aged family plus older father. Where would you suggest to stay so we can go to restaurant or shop and then attend the wedding in the next evening. Keeneland is a distance from the downtown area.

Downtown Hilton, Hyatt, or boutique Gratz Park Inn. Plenty of everything within walking distance. Weddings at Keeneland are awesome.
