Women's Night Out

Any suggestions for places to go downtown Indy for music and dancing that would appeal to more mature women. There are four of us that are in our mid 40's that want to have a fun "girls night out" but don't necessarily want to feel like we're partying with or kids.

My first (and so far only) thought is the Slippery Noodle Inn. Located just south of the RR tracks on Meridian; well known Blues oriented place. Here's a link to their webpage:

Another place you may try is The Rathskeller. It's on the northeast side of downtown. Depending on time of year and weather, there is an outdoor Biergarten where you'll find live music and dancing. There are all age groups there, most over 30. You definitely won't feel out of place like you may at the bars on Meridian Street, where clientele there are aged 21-25 tops.
