Cafe or park for early morning stop?

We will be driving through mid morning with toddler on way to Louisville. Any suggestions for a bakery/coffee shop or even a park in which to take a quick car break?

While I don't have any specific recommendations, Mount Vernon is a fairly large stop on the expressway--you won't have any difficulty whatsoever finding someplace to stop for a car break with a toddler.
