1 day after navy graduation to tour Chicago

We are coming in to Waukeegan to see my son graduate from Navy boot camp at end of April 2014. We will be coming to Chicago by train and would appreciate some advice on what to do, times for travel, must do place to eat reasonably in Chicago, etc. Any help is much appreciated...

Train from downtown to Great Lakes:

metrarail.com/content/…schedule.html

What to see/do here - http://www.choosechicago.com/

What is your budget for "place to eat reasonably?" Meanwhile - www.chicagoreader.com and www.chicagomag.com for current dining and entertainment information. You can search restaurants by area, cuisine, budget etc.

You get off at the last station, Ogilvie. It's at Madison and Canal Streets, just west of the river.

If you pick out a few destinations from the choosechicago.com site, we can give you ideas on how to organize your day.

Pizza! Were known for it and it's reasonably priced. Did you figure out the train?
