Lodging in Sandpoint

Hi There-

We are stopping over in Sandpoint after along day of traveling from Oregon on way to BC on a Saturday in July.... Assuming I need to make reservations ASAP to reserve a room? Looked at the reviews for accomidations, but if you have a suggestion that would be great. Probably nothing too fancy needed- just a clean, comfortable place to stay on the road.

Thanks for your help in advance...

1. Re: Lodging in Sandpoint

We recently stayed in the Holiday Inn express (Sandpoint's newest hotel) and it was clean and comfortable. Typical new HI express, free breakfast was also good. It is about 5 mins north of downtown near Walmart.

Sandpoint can get busy on summer weekends and accomodations a little pricey.

You can go to http://www.tripadvisor.com/ and type in Sandpoint, Idaho for choices. That will pull up the reviews of your choices. We'll be staying at the DaysInn there next month. A friend living nearby told me we had made a good choice. Hope that helps! :)
