New Year's Eve

Arriving 12/29 for a week. Staying on the North end. We know about the Polar Plunge on New Year's Day, but does anyone have suggestions for what to do on New Year's Eve? We have obligations on New Year's Day, so we don't want to "party" too much the night before. All suggestions welcome.

They will have fireworks at midnight on the pier at Tybee.

Yes, fabulous fireworks. You can see them from the north end, too. Just bring your chairs and cocktails to the beach. No glassware allowed on the beach though. Just so you know. Have fun. Some say these are even better than July 4th fireworks in Tybee.

Fireworks sound great. Tell me a little more about the Polar Bear Plunge - when/where?

Also, are there any cool bars (with billards) for NYE and the couple nights before (arriving 12/29).

We're staying on the North End and I wondered if we would be able to see the fireworks from the beach there. Thanks!!
