Where to stay in March 2011

We would like to make a reservation for the last 2 weeks in March but understand that could be spring break for many schools. 2 adults wanting quiet, upscale, close to beach with 2-3 bedrooms. Gull Reef?

Any help would be appreciated......don't want a place over run with kids!

Thanks

I could be wrong but I don't think that TI is big with the spring breakers. Hopefully someone who lives there all year long can comment. Upscale? That might be a bit of a challenge. TI is pretty low key and funky-relaxed but I don't know that it might be considered upscale. My guess is someone might recommend a condo complex that fits the bill. We always rent a cottage off Butler Ave which is quiet. My personal suggestion would be to check out a website about Tybee rentals and look at the cottages, some of which will be expensive therefore upscale maybe? If there are only two of you, why do you need 2-3 bedrooms? My strongest suggestion would be just to avoid the motels along Butler Ave as there would surely be younger, party-animals there.

Thanks Karrie. By upscale I guess I mean updated and really clean. Perhaps looking for smaller complex or cottage. We have family coming for part of the visit thus the need for 2+ bedrooms. Thinking of mid-island to a bit north but on ocean side.

Tybee does not really have a spring break crowd. There may be some but it would most likely be the family vacation deal. I don't have any recomendations on places to stay since I have never used any of them.
