It was an exciting day here on the beach with several casualties. All related to rip currents. Check out Bay News 9 for the list of swimmers who got into trouble and where. I might give the water another day or two before going in.
There were five news-trucks on PAG at dinner time today to report on the condition of the water.
We had someone who had to go into the water to swim onto a drifting and sinking boat and did so in a tethered PDF. He said it was a much harder swim than usual.
The sun was shining brightly and the wind had really started to die down by sunset tonight. The beaches did get a facelift of sorts with fresh wet sand. Things were drying out everywhere and getting back to normal very quickly.,
Swim with much caution the next couple of days.
