Are there any hotels in the Tampa st Pete area with a swimm up bar? Thanks
I know tons of houses on St. Pete Beach with actual swim up bars, mine being one, but do not know of any resorts.
I have never heard of one on Clearwater Beach.
I think the whole spillage issue is sorta the thing here, even with plastic cups etc. It looks cool in a photo, but not so much in real life. ALSO, if patrons will not get out of the water to get another drink, when will they use the restroom?
Much to my chagrin, during our visit to Sirata last year, a group of "fun-loving" adults had a makeshift swim-up bar going in one of the pools ... a cooler full of beer cans within easy reach of the shallow end, and ashtrays on the pool ledge so they could smoke and drink while submerged in water. And there was a tiny infant in their group propped up in a floaty ring. Fortunately this scene turned off my daughter enough that she was convinced to stay on the beach the whole time! Because really, who wants to be in a pool in SPB when you're right on one of the most gorgeous beaches in the US?
