I remember reading both these posts previously. After reading the first I came away with the feeling that most of the negative rhetoric came from one disgruntled customer with an ax to grind. Many more people came on the thread to recount their positive experience.
The second thread outlined an issue that I can understand would be of concern to some in that VRPro's goes on VRBO to offer their listings. As VRBO stands for Villa Rentals by OWNER, it seems to be a misnomer. I think that is more of a problem with VRBO allowing it. That said, VRBO is still my favorite booking site.
Please understand that I am not trying to sell VRPro's. They are however by far the largest agency with the largest number of listings and they are thus for a reason. Positive reviews outnumber negative reviews by a vast margin. The bottom line is a company can not do business with as many as they do without someone getting upset with them.
