Hi cmarks. We stayed at Whispering Seas Aug '04 and they were nice Condos for the price. The complex is 2 or 3 storys high - not a big place. We had a 2 BR 2 BA unit on the 2nd floor. It was very clean and well kept with all kithen necessities present. There was a washing machine and dryer in our unit. It also had TV's in each BR and living room with CD and VCR players. It's an older complex but that doesn't matter to me. The pool area was nice enough and it was only a short walk to the beach. The only draw back would be no elevator. This would be a bit of an inconvience if you were on the 3rd floor. Hope you have fun. Oh, yes it did survive the storms. Nothing much in PCB had any damage from last years storms.

Thank you Octagon8, I think it sounds like a very laid-back place. I'm thinking of staying in a condo on the ground floor, directly in front of the pool. The price is really quite low. I appreciate your response, it settled my mind!

Yes, my husband and I stayed for a week in May, and it was wonderful. The condo is perfect for 2 people. It was very clean and beautifully decorated, the pictures didn't do it justice. The location was great, directly on the beach. The pool was only steps from our door. I will definitely stay there again. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

I used to own a place in Whispering Seas. I would not stay in 105a because if there is anyone upstairs it will drive you up the wall (205a has an all tile floor).

Also, unless that unit has been updated in the last year or so it is not as nice as most of the others.

Does anyone know anything about unit 205A? How big is it? Is it clean?

my wife and i just came back from panama city. we go every year in october and take our little dog with us. we rented from resort world rentals, who advised us the condo was pet friendly. we were out the second day and had a few owners come up to us and tell us we were not supposed to have a petat the condo. my wife and i were cushed when we heard this. our first priority when making reservations is to find a pet friendly place. after that day all the condos owners were really rude to us. they did not speak to us when we passed them outside and they telling we were not supposed to have a dog. we had already payes a 200 pet depsosit and paid over 1200 to stay the week. i will never rent another place at whispering seas again. the funny thing about the pets though is 4 or 5 of the condo owners had pets and let them on the beach which is against the law. they judged us because we did not own a condo int he complex.
