Marriott's Ocean Pointe-Recommended Locations- Cpls wo Kids

We're Marriott owners (not at MOP) - traded for 2 bedroom condo, first week of Nov 08..our first visit. Interested in folks' recommendations for locatins within the resort...ideally something with ocean view

From the maps, the north side of Sailfish appears it might fit the bill???

Thanks so much in advance for your time to respond.

I have spent a total of 23 weeks at OP and have stayed in all the buildings except Kingfish.

You may not be offered Kingfish because the 2 bedrooms are by definition ocean-view and more expensive to buy. Their view would vary but includes the inlet looking towards Palm Beach and The Breakers and towards the ocean. It is somewhat marred by an ugly structure where the inlet meets the ocean.

The next building north is Pompano then Cobia then Dolphin and finally Sailfish.

The north side of Sailfish has no high adjoining buildings so the ocean view might be better. However the real deciding factor is how close to the ocean your room is. Ask for a room at the east end of any of the bulidings. Even at the west end you get some ocean view and the compensation is a view of the Inland Waterway.

Using Google or Yahoo you can get a very good overhead visual picture.
