Late day at Magic Kingdom question

Does the railroad run during the extra hour? If we are in frontierland, I thought we could save the walk by taking the train to the main street exit. Is that possible. Also, about what time is the evening parade and fireworks? We will be there in late April. Thanks. Marlyne

No, the railroad is not one of the EMH attractions. The list of EMH attractions include the following:

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Cinderella's Golden Carrousel, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, "It's a small world", The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Peter Pan's Flight, Space Mountain, Stitch's Great Escape!, Tomorrowland Indy Speedway

Includes attractions listed above and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, The Haunted Mansion, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain.

The evening parade and fireworks are done at different times depending on the day. You need to check the calendar on the Disney website for the dates you plan on visiting M.K. to see what time they are for that evening (times can change on a daily basis). Simply go to the website, click on the caledar page, choose the park and month you plan to visit, then click on the actual "date" on the calendar to bring up the page showing what time Wishes and Spectromagic are scheduled for that night.
