Hi Harrydog,

Have you tried posting this on the "Air Travel" forum?

You may get some info. People love to talk about the airlines....there's a ton of into on that forum..Good luck and have a great trip!

We flew Sunshine Premium in Feb this year.

This is what we found -

We had seperate check-in desk with no queue. Normal check-in queue was very long.

We had priority boarding and disembarking,outbound and inbound.

Flight outbound and inbound both left on time.

Plane had TCD livery,but crew and free flight-pack etc were Excel.

Premium cabin was upstairs,as was Sunshine Upper.Both cabins had around 24 seats.

Seats were all leather and had TV screens,but these showed 'communal' films at set times as opposed to an 'on-demand' service.

Extra legroom and footrest made it more comfortable than economy flights.

Condition of cabin was ok - About the same as most.

Crew were fiendly and efficient enough - Again,about the same as most.

Food was ok,and we had free drinks.

Kerbside check-in and rental car return at Sanford worked out really useful. Also used the Guest House (£28 for three people)which was nice.

This is the only time we've flown with TCD,and we chose it for the extra room and check-in/boarding perks,though we were very sceptical.

Overall,we had a good experience so would consider using them again. Also,the cost difference for our 2 week holiday compared with Virgin was around £1500 cheaper.

BUT,I definitely wouldn't consider flying economy with TCD as,without the Sunshine perks,you're into 'el-cheapo' package holiday queues and pandemonia at Sanford,which is a small airport.

We're going again this month with Virgin (flying with them for the 5th time),but would consider them both for our next trip to see which comes out best.
