Just found out that a cousin and his family will be in Orlando in April and there are a couple days overlapping our stay, including Easter Sunday.

What recommendations does anyone have for a nice Easter Sunday Brunch for 10 (4 adults, 6 kids ranging from 5-14) Not too too fancy, but not Denny's, either. Buffets could be nice.

Thanks in advance!

I can only report what I have read on other posts regarding this topic. Many have recommended Ponderosa and Golden Corral. They have large buffets.

Very reasonable prices, and they include your drink. (I imagine coffee, juice, milk)

Thanks, but we are hoping for something nicer. Cloth napkins and all....

The best brunch I've heard of (not a brunch fan myself) is at Dux in the Peabody Hotel on International Drive. I'll bet any number of restaurants that don't usually serve brunch will have it Easter.

La Coquina at the Grand Cypress is ranked high locally for it's brunch. I have stayed at that resort and it's a nice upscale place. Nicer than the Peabody, but it is a resort and not a hotel like the Peabody. Renaissance Resort at Seaworld ranks highly (Atlantis Restaurant) as well.

All are linen napkin type places and priced accordingly.

Check the Orlando Sentinel online for sunday brunch ads for Easter. I'm sure you'll find plenty of selections at the more upscale places.

BrooklynFamily,

The Peabody is one the most expensive hotels in Orlando so are the restaurants at that beautiful hotel. I would also suggest the brunch at The Renaissance Hotel near Sea World. Is very good, nice extensive selection of food, live music and less expensive (not cheap though). All the Champagne/Mimosas you can drink included in the price. Very popular among Orlandonians so reservations are a must.

Hope this helps,

PELUCH

The Ren was already booked out - price for the Peabody brunch is about the same, and also includes unlimited champers, tho I cant take full advantage, as I have to drive to the coast that afternoon.........

BrooklynFamily,

What about La Coquina Restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress on One Grand Cypress Boulevard off Hwy. 535. Telephone: (407)239.1234 or (800)835.7377. I have never been to the restaurant but many of my friends talk wonders of it.

Good luck.

I would strongly recommend Fiorella's Cucina Toscana located in The Westin Imagine Orlando - near Universal and Sea World. Their food is delicious and the Easter Brunch is a good value for a family!

Fiorella’s Cucina Toscana’s will be offering a fabulous Easter Brunch featuring an antipasti station, made-to-order interactive entrée creations from the open kitchen, skillet display station and a dolce station under the culinary direction of multi-award-winning Executive Chef Robert Mason. Seatings are at 10:30a.m., 11:00a.m., 1:00p.m. and 1:30p.m. The price is $29.95 for adults, $14.95 for children 3 – 12 and children under 3 eat free. There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt at 12:30p.m. for children 12 and under. Complimentary valet parking. Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made by calling 407.233.2950.
