My family, 2 adults, 3 children ages 11, 5 and 2 will be going to Orlando for our 2nd time this year. We did Disney in the summer and enjoyed it but got ran down trying to "fit everything in". This trip will be one week during the busiest time Dec. 17 - 24th but we're not trying to do EVERYTHING...want to get some nice pics, take leisurely strolls, view a few parades and shows and that is all. The plan is to visit Disney 2 days...one to MK and the other to Animal Kingdom b/c the little one enjoys animals and also b/c IMO it's pretty laid back.
Our visit in July we stayed at the HGVC on International Dr. attended a timeshare presentation and were able to purchase disney tickets at a very reasonable rate. I think it was btw $300 - $400 (for tics for 3 ppl any park no park hopper) ....not paying for the 5yo of course nor the infant. This trip we'll be staying at the Holiday Inn Orange Lake and I've heard they are very heavy on their timeshare promotions. I'm not averse to going but I'd like to know if anyone has any info. on pricing of Disney tickets once you've attended.
I've tried all the discount sites...maple leaf, underground, orlando attractions etc. and only one of them sold tickets for 1 or 2 days and nothing was comparable to the price given for the 2hrs you give up to view the timeshare sale.
Any suggestions or info. is greatly appreciated!
