Hi my husband and I bought Etour and Travel packages. The catch is that you have to sit through timeshare presentations which are about 2 hours.

We went to Key West and Orlando got a car on the first leg (to Key West) then went a second time to Orlando and did one there. It was really not a bad deal, they gave us a free pass to Universal Studios.

We didn't buy a timeshare as financial advisor said it was a bad idea.

I did get a package from etour and travel and I thought it was too good to be true. Although we were on a pretty tight budget, i said "what the heck". It turns out, that for $400.00 we got a deal that I just couldn't pass up.

7 day car rental

4d-3n orlando (Downtown Radisson), the hotel wasn't great because of it being a business district there wasn't a whole lot to do. Pool time is always cool though especially for the kids.

4d-3n daytona (Holiday Inn) On the beach- that was very nice.

Tickets to Daytona, USA Very cool!!

4d-3n Key West (haven't taken yet)

While in Orlando, Of course we drove to Disney--Had a Blast!!

Airfare-not included but I went online found the best fares (Southwest) decent flight roundtrip. Made the purchase online.

Here's a tip for the kids.

I packed an entire bag with capri sun juices, snacks, microwavable Non-perishables,breakfast bars, pringles, fruit snacks u name it as long as it met the requirement for a carry on.

Ha-Ha!! The kids felt like they were in a home away from home.

It was pretty cool!!

I was just called last night, told the guy I couldn't make the decision with out consulting the husband. He is calling back tonight.

I've been on a similar type in Williamsburg VA, they give you 2 tickets to either Busch Gardens for WaterCountry or Colonial Williamsburg. Take the water country, you'll enjoy it. We toured the Villas, really awesome if you have the cash to put into the real estate. This company, put you up in a Shoty Comfort Inn, it did serve a full continential breakfast. Pool was lousy.

They are not all scams. You have a year to use it, Be cautious if they have black out dates.

We are seriously considering this trip to Florida. The value of package

claims to be $2200 I think the $398 is worth the Vacation.

Anyone else have a good exp. with Etour and travel

We bought the package and we're planning on using it in November. I have a couple questions/comments.

1. The Terms & Conditions that they provided say that in Daytona & Orlando, your hotel accommodation is confirmed. If you don't attend the presentation, however, you don't get your bonus attraction tickets. Key West is different, as they say there that your accommodation is dependant upon attending the presentation. Any thoughts?

2. How are the presentations? We have 2 kids, 7 & 2, and we're thinking of making the experience as joyful for the presenters as it will be for us by having the kids sit with us during the presentation. They said they have child care, but I'd rather not use it.

3. How are the actual hotels?

Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi,

We just came back from using etour and travel package for orlando for $398. It worked out very well for us. You maye loose 2 hours or so in the morning but you get 2 day universal studios, so you can go to universal 1-7pm on the tour day and next day and it is covered. The hotel is not all that bad.

You do need to take the tour even for hotel check out voucher so don't think that only attraction tickets are the gift. But they were all professional, they didn't leave us with bad impression. I would go with them.

They internet is full of message that they are scam but I had first hand experience and they are not bad. Its a promotion, so you have to go through the presentation, nobody can hold you on gun to buy timeshare, they are not high pressure sales. They do try to convince you and stuff. But decision is yours. Its only your time they buy against the deal you get.

Hotel is just OK. Its not good as I would expect Ramada to be.

Hope this helps everyone

I'm starting to feel better now after reading some of your posts. I recieved a phone call a couple of nights ago saying I had won tickets to Universal Studios in Orland Floridaand a Bonus trip in Daytona Beach for 4 nights.. My Hotel accomadations and Car rental were included. All I have to do pay 398.00 buy my own airfare and pay the taxes on the car and hotel. I was sceptical at first and didn't want to give my mastercard number out thinking it was a scam. ( We get a lot of that in Canada.) I went through 3 different people before I gave my mastercarde number out and still feel a little uncomfortable about the situation. There was no mention of a timeshare at all through any of the converstaions I had with the three people I had spoken with.. I would feel much better if I get more feed back from anyone who has won tickets through etour and travel and hear of what their experience was all about.

There are over 100 complaints about this company with the Better Business Bureau of Central Florida- many of them never resolved. I don't think you should be "feeling better" at all.
