Hiya, can anyone recommend a travel insurance company to use for going to Orlando? Myself & my boyfriend are going for 3 weeks in May. Ive been looking on moneysupermarket to compare prices - Primary Insurance came up with something quite reasonable. Anyone know what like they are? Any info positive or negative gratefully recieved! Cheers :o)

After alot of Web Browsing I booked with 1STOP travel insurance.co.uk .

They were really helpful as my wife is a Diabetic.

4 ADULTS 1 CHILD 3 weeks and no excess £125.20

We used them last year because they came up with the best quote on moneysupermarket, they were the only ones that included hurricane cover and as it was October we thought that would be good to have. (We were on the coast) Thankfully we didn't have to make a claim so i can't comment on how they handle claims.

Hope that helps.

One of the problems you have with this question is that you will probably never know the real answer until you are in a position of having to make a claim.

Insurance companies are notorious for finding reasons not to pay out.

Unfortunately i have been in that position when i paid my premium willingly . But never got a penny from the claim.

That holiday we arrived a day later than we should have, although we set off on time.

We arrived home 3 days late, and it could easily have been 7. We had to sleep on the airport floor in New York . Some of the members of our party lost time at work. so that was an added cost.

Just hope it is a Good'n . and pray you never need to find out.

Thanks very much everybody. I checked out the prices with the AA & 1stop.... and found that 'primary insurance' was still cheaper so i've gone with them.

Hopefully though, as you say, I will never need to find out how good/bad they are!!

Thanks for your help
