Florida has bugs. Why don't you change hotels? You have a bit less than a year!

I've stayed at this hotel on several occasions, and can honestly say i've not encountered the roaches at all.

What we got was basic, clean accommodation, which was very reasonable in price, and in a prime location on Intl Drive.

If you're using Q.I.I. as a base from which to explore the parks ( as most tend to do!!), then i doubt you'll encounter any problems.

There's nothing more off-putting, i know, reading a bad report about the place your about to visit, but i try and take all advise on these threads with a pinch of salt!

An all score 5 rating hotel does not in any way preclude you from having a stay fraught with problems.

All i can say is that on the numerous occasions that i've stayed at Q.I.I, i've been perfectly happy with my stays.

So please, relax, continue to look forward to your dream hol with each passing day ( as we all do!!), and don't worry!!

many kind thanks for your most reassuring reply, we will look forward to it. Many have told us that location is excellent and there was only one post re cockroaches, no one else has said anything

we have stayed quite a few times and not once have i came across any roaches.

but i think that reviews should be taken a pinch of salt

what one might like the other will not

please relax and dont let people put you off, it is a busy motel in good location and lovely grounds and the staff are very helpful and pools and rooms are nice.

stayed the quality inn inter 4 time and never seen a roach going again 8th dec fot 3 weks

stayed there twice never saw any bugs in room ,just before we went there in 05 someone wrote a post saying they where woke in the night to see a rat run across the room, dont believe every thing you read, we stayed in building opposite one of the pools and it was cleaned every day,

We are also going aug 08 with Virgin staying in lake buena vista.

I have stayed at this hotel and although very basic it is very clean.........HOWEVER, we are talking about Florida here so you have to expect the odd bug (even in 4/5 star hotels).

Agree with Nick, Florida has the climate that means BUGS - had a very unpleasant "thing" in one hotel once - a quick call to reception & someone was despatched to get rid....
