You do not have to be a hotel guest to visit most spas within hotels. That being said, there is a day spa on Tamiami Trail North (US 41) just before Pine Ridge Road named Allure. It's maybe 10 minutes drive. The website is below.

Thanks Mama924 for the quick reply. these look great, is there anyone which has the best reputation? This will be a morning treat for us whilst the guys play some golf - I know this is the wrong place to ask but do you have any recommendations for public golf courses (not too expensive!) - my partner has only recently taken up golf and will not be taking his golf clubs with him but we wondered if there were courses where he could rent clubs?

If I were to choose a day spa, I might choose one within a resort as sometimes they allow use of other amenities on the property, i.e. pool area or hot tub. I would email them with any questions or info request.

As for golf, I don't play and therefore know very little but I do know that Naples Beach Hotel has a course which I believe can be used by non guest for a fee of course, so if you spa there your hubby could golf there at the same time. I have also provided a link below which lists public courses.
