$2.35 AIRPORT FLYER bus service to South Beach

The $2.35 AIRPORT FLYER BUS travels from Miami Airport to SOUTH BEACH.

When your flight arrives at MIA, look for the PINK SIGNS to take you to the free MOVER which whisks you to the RCC/ Transit center.

From there - hop onto the AIRPORT FLYER bus #150 and RELAX...

Stops on Miami Beach include the 41 Street shopping district and then the bus moves swiftly south along Collins Avenue making stops from 41 Street down to First Street.

If your hotel address is LOWER than 4100,

stay on the bus until you reach the numbered street that matches your hotel.

* If your hotel address is 500, get off on 5th Street...

If your hotel is HIGHER than 4100,

exit the bus at 41 Street & Indian Creek and transfer to a northbound bus on Collins Avenue.

(S bus #119 travels along Collins through 192nd Street)

AFTER 11pm - a taxi can take you from the AIRPORT to South Beach for a FLAT RATE of $32. Simply exit baggage claim & follow the signs to the TAXI KIOSK.

2. Re: $2.35 AIRPORT FLYER bus service to South Beach

The info on the website and brochure is very confusing....

I need to get off at 13th st. and washington ave.

On the route system map, it looks like I can just take 150, no problem. However, on the AIRPORT FLYER BUS Brochure, it looks like I need to get off at Washington ave, and Lincoln road to transfer to another local bus!!...

Is there something I am missing? Going to the hotel I am not so worried. But going to the airport with bus transfer and unclear info really scares me... Help!

On Miami Dade metrobus website, it says "Beginning Sunday, September 16, 2012, the Route 150 Airport Flyer will no longer stop at Earlington Heights Metrorail station. Miami International Airport (MIA) Metrorail station, 41st Street, Alton Rd., Collins Ave., Lincoln Rd., Washington Ave."

If it doesn't stop at MIA metrorail station, how do I find it in the airport? I am planning to return my rental car at MIA, and take the airport flyer to 13th. Some insights and pointers real really appreciated.

Please ignore that brochure, it is old and obsolete. The correct route maop is this one:

…miami-dade.fl.us/transit/…150.pdf

As you can see it does go to both 13 Street and the MIA station.

At the airport, after baggage claim, follow the big pink signs to the "MIA Mover". It's a free light rail that takes you to the MIA Metrorail station (about 5 mins, the only other station). There you can get on the #150 airport flyer bus to south beach. On the way back just reverse the steps.

So.. Am headed to the National at 1677 Collins. Looking at the map, should I exit the bus at 17 Street? Doesn't appear to be a stop at 16.

No, the airport flyer bus does not stop anywhere other than Miami Beach and the airport. See route map here:

…miami-dade.fl.us/transit/…150.pdf

Edit: You shiuld be able to take the Metrorail from downtown to the airport.
