My wife and I spent a weekend at the Delano on South Beach. My wife was topless the entire time at both the pool and the beach. In the morning, she was the first woman at the pool to go topless, but she was quickly joined by others once she took off her top. By late afternoon, most of the women were topless and there was quite a festive atmosphere at the pool.

The beach was typical SoBe -- about 1 out of 5 go topless.

The Delano is great. The food, the service, and the other guests are all fantastic.

We've never stayed at the Delano but plan to soon. I've heard pool chairs are filled up early in the day and that some folks actually get out VERY early in the morning to "reserve" a chair. Did you find that to be the case? Also, when did you go as things are different during the busy season.

Yes, people reserved chairs by the pool early in the morning. We were there in March, so it was pretty crowded. The sun doesn't cover the whole pool all day, so you need to reserve on the East side of the pool closest to the beach and the bar.
