Your staying at a good spot. South beach is the place to be.

Some clubs to check out include Mynt and Mansion. The "in" place changes often in Miami, so it's best to ask once you get here what clubs you should go to. The best night life is on Miami Beach and the Design District. Keep in mind that a lot of the clubs pick and choose who gets in so dress to impress. Girls usually have an easier time getting in, but you need to look "hot, hot, hot". You may also want to hang at the bars in some of the south beach chic hotels like the Delano. The scene at the bars are very nice.

For a fun experience try Mango's on Ocean Drive, they have live latin bands playing salsa and also dancers.

For really good Cuban Food try Latin Cafe on Biscayne, which is really close to the Design District in Downtown. You should definately check this area out.

On the beach make time to stroll down Lincoln Road, you can eat at David's Cafe or Yuca for Cuban Food.

Check out Bayside during an evening it's full of shops and restaurants along the bay. Some nights there are live performances. From there cross the streat and spend the evening dancing at Gloria Estefan's Bongo's night club - it's very Latin.

You might want to spend one day in Vizcaya and then head out to Coconut Grove, great for walking around, sightseeing, lots of restaurants and shops. During the day and night it's very lively. However, I don't recommend any of the night clubs in the grove.
